What a good leased line quote looks like
Any carrier quote should itemise all of the following. If a quote hides these behind "call for details", walk away.
- Monthly rental (ex-VAT)
- Contract term (12/36/60 months)
- Install fee — including whether ECCs are absorbed or extra
- Bearer speed AND port speed (e.g. 1 Gbps bearer, 200 Mbps port)
- SLA — uptime %, fix time, service credits
- Router / CPE hardware included or extra
- IPv4 allocation (a /29 block is standard; /28 or larger costs more)

What information do I need to request a quote?
Just your business postcode, building name or number, and the bandwidth you're after. If you don't know the bandwidth, tell us how many users rely on cloud tools daily and we'll size it correctly. Company registration number helps carriers pre-approve pricing but isn't required for an initial quote.
